HISTORY OF
AL-SALAM
2002- Head Start
Saher Massad, a young entrepreneur with more than 10 years of medical experience, decides to solely start his medical distribution journey in Ramallah, Palestine.
2008- Private Limited Company
When his passion turned into a successful story, Mr.Massad's organization becomes a private limited company under the name "Al-Salam Drugstore Company".
2015- Significant Sales Growth
Al-Salam Pharmaceuticals proved its success in the market, with a 300% Sales increase from 2005.
2017- Quality Control and Partnership
Al-Salam successfully acquired ISO 9001: 2015 Certification for high quality control, and signed its partnership agreement with MERZ pharmaceuticals.
2004- Sole Trader
Mr. Massad officially starts operating as a sole trader, distributing medicine in a few pharmacies around Ramallah, Palestine.
To effectively expand the work in Gaza, Al-Salam acquired Interpharm Drugstore company in the Gaza Strip, with exclusive distribution of Pfizer, Aventis, and other Israeli companies.
The company relocated into a private building consisting of 7 floors (300 m2 each), to separate Al-Salam into two business units; General whole sales unit, and the exclusive distribution unit with its marketing/scientific offices.
Al-Salam currently distributes more than 4000 products around the West Bank and Gaza as both general and exclusive distributor, making it one of the leading pharmaceutical distributors in Palestine.
